Our science curriculum will be implemented into the classroom the following ways: Students will complete lessons using Gizmos, Mystery Science, Pebble Go, and Discovery, as well as a vast selection of differentiated science resources . Throughout the year, students will learn about the various topics: Weather/Climate, Life Cycles and Traits of Living Things, Adaptations and Survival of Living Things, and Forces and Motion. We will use our Science Google Classroom to post discussion questions and responses.
Throughout the year, students will learn about various Social Studies topics including:
historical symbols, monuments, and holidays and how they affect American identity
how culture is expressed and influenced by the behavior of people
how the United States government is organized and how the Constitution defines and checks the power of government
how the actions of Dr. Martin Luther King and other civil rights leaders served as catalysts for social change
landforms, climate, and weather and how these areas have impacted people on where they live and the resources they use
the needs and wants of individuals, communities, and nations
We will use our Social Studies Google Classroom to post discussion questions and responses.
