Annika Carlson

Annika will be studying Aerospace Engineering at The University of Cincinnati next year.

Artist Statement: My portfolio of works for AP Fine Art 4 investigates my journey with religion and faith. Centering my art around what I came to discover as one of my greatest inspirations in my life has allowed me to gain a new perspective on not only art as a whole but on my faith and the influence it has in my life. I want my portfolio to be a place where I can show not only strength, but also vulnerability, as I discover my own connections to faith throughout high school and beyond.

The last three pieces in this portfolio are not a part of my AP concentration, but they are pieces I did this year that I was proud of as they are some of the first digital works I made as I experimented with my new tablet.
