One important aspect of college planning for students is taking advantage of meeting university representatives when they visit our campus. Each year we have between 35-65 university reps come to our school. These reps tend to come in the autumn (October-November) and the spring (March-April); however, there can be visits during any month the school is in session. Their visits are usually arranged to take place over the lunch break, when students are able to speak with them, at which time the reps are at a table in the canteen area. They are available to answer questions from students and parents, and give brochures. This autumn there have been (or will be) visits by reps from a range of universities and countries as per the following:
UK/EUROPE – Hult International Business School; Richmond University; University of Essex; University of Kent; University of Hull; Tilburg University; Globe Business College; Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia.
USA/CANADA – California State Polytechnic University; University of Akron; Savannah College of Art and Design; State University of New York – Fredonia; University of Guelph; University of Waterloo; Carleton University; Concordia University; Ryerson University; Dalhousie University; York University; University of British Columbia; University of Toronto.
Students and parents are encouraged to make the most of the opportunity to speak with university representatives when they come to visit our school. They can give direct responses as regards to admission requirements, programs (majors/minors), scholarship opportunities, and other important topics.
