The Grade 3 students began the year with the How We Express Ourselves Unit of Inquiry which focused on the performing arts. After engaging in the first half of the inquiry cycle (tuning in, finding out and sorting out) the students were able to go further and engage in an acting workshop provided by Mr. Tom Godfrey. He is the director of the Istanbul based English speaking theater group Speech Bubbles. Bringing in his expertise broadened the students understanding of performing while being fun, hands-on and challenging.
