Description: Digital Multimedia files such as images, videos, audio files etc. became ubiquitous in our lives. We can leverage these multimedia files for communication. Steganography is a technique for hiding information in these files in an imperceptible manner. By manipulating the multimedia signals, one can transmit messages to another in such a way that original signal would be indistinguishable from the manipulated one by a human. This paper demonstrates an application of audio steganography using MATLAB.

Description: Audio source separation is the task of extracting the signal of each sound source from a mixture of concurrent sources.[1] In this project, our goal is to separate mixed harmonic guitar and drum sounds. The reason we have chosen this topic is we wanted to challenge ourselves.

Description: Each of the sounds of musical instruments has their own frequencies and note values, and a musician must have perfectly tuned instruments to play beautiful music. As any beginner musician knows, setting an instrument can be difficult for the untrained ear. In this project, we will try to implement the method of designing digital guitar receivers. The focus of the design lies in specifying the fundamental frequencies of 6 main note.

Description: In this project, the aim was to find the pressed keypads according to the signal frequencies of the pressed keypads. The signals are given in the data folder. The code simply finds the frequencies from the given signals and use these frequencies to indicate the keypads pressed by the user.
