White Fang is a fiction novel about a wild wolf (White Fang), written by Jack London and published in 1980. The beginning of this classic is set in the wild North by the McKenzie river. As the story progresses, the setting changes frequently within similar environments, leading us through White Fang’s journey. The change of setting is important because each time it shows us a new way White Fang is treated by humanity. This story is a great representation that you can teach an old dog new tricks with a little bit of time, love, and patience.
White Fang is the main character of this book. It is written in 3rd person limited perspective, giving you insight on everything he thinks, sees, and feels. The storyline delves into the treatment of wild animals by different humans. The changing circumstances under which he lives can make the tone of the book fluctuate a lot. Sometimes it is sad and stressful, while other times it is hopeful and optimistic. I think this adds character to the book because it constantly has you as the reader hoping and wishing White Fang the best. You are constantly turning the pages wanting to read more.
There is a she-wolf in the start of the book. She was the most intelligent, fastest, and strongest wolf out there. She is an important character in this book because she sets up the standard for her son, White Fang. As you continue to read the book you learn that White Fang has exceeded those expectations. ¨Fear urged him to go back, but growth drove him on.¨ This quote from White Fang shows the strength passed down to him. It tells you that no matter how scary something may seem, the end result will always be worth it. This lesson is splashed very thoroughly throughout the book.
I believe the major conflict in this book is the struggle to find peace between humankind and animals, especially wild animals. This book is a great way to describe how important it is to give things and people second chances, because you don’t know how that patience and kindness can change their life. White Fang could have been given up on many times, but as you read the book you learn there is something keeping him here. This book is so well written and very descriptive it will be found interesting to any age group, you won't want to put it down. I highly recommend this book and encourage you to read it. I promise you won't regret it!

During these times we have all been stuck inside without much to do. Many people have turned to watching tv shows but can find that some are just not very interesting. This is a review for a tv show called “The Good Place”, created by Michael Schur.
This sitcom is a four season show. The show is a very engaging and relatable show. The idea of the show is that when people die they go to the good place/heaven or the bad place/hell. The first season focuses on four main characters and their adventures in the good place.
One of the characters is Eleanor Shellstrop played by Kristin Bell. She was from Phoenix, Arizona, lived with two other people, and was a very selfish person. The next character is named Chidi Anagonye played by William Jackson. He was always bad at making decisions and he was a philosophy professor at a college. Jianyu Li/Jason Mendoza, who is played by Manny Jacinto, loves football. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and loved to dance and dj. Tahani Al-Jamil, who is played by Jameela Jamil, was a rich person. She had a sister who she had always had a rivalry with. Tahani always wanted her parents approval but she never got it. Some other important characters are Micheal, played by Ted Danson, who is an architect, and Janet, played by D'arcy Carden, who is the robot of the universe.
The Good Place is an amazingly directed tv show and is very much binge-worthy. There are four seasons with either twelve or thirteen episodes per season. The ending is a very emotional ending that will make almost every fan cry. So next time you are sitting at home with nothing to do and you are bored of scrolling through social media, grab some snacks and watch “The Good Place”.
