YOU ARE STELLAR! Your ideas, pictures, and videos are so much fun to see! We're still adding to our Kindness Quarantine book...see below!

**Follow directions 1-5 below for your Week 6 Library/Makerspace time:**

We are so grateful for Erik and Kelly taking the time to make this video to celebrate Blackout Beloved Book & Nook week! They were supposed to come visit us this year and we're all hoping they can come next school year, of course pending social distancing regulations. Maybe you can make your own book like they did!!! 4. BLACKOUT BELOVED BOOK & NOOK CHALLENGE:

- As explained in our read-aloud and video messages, find or create a Beloved Book & Nook! It could be a new book and reading spot OR ones you already love! You're also welcome to come up with any other Blackout ideas, like we saw in the book! (With parent permission, if needed!) For other fun, you can go to the Poetry & Reading page here and scroll down to the activities you can do using only a book!

5. SHARE: If you'd like to share about your Blackout Beloved Book & Nook, we'd love to see/hear about it!!! You're also welcome to share any other Blackout ideas you and your family come up with! Email (please also put your school's name if you email!) OR reply in your Encore Library/Makerspace Google Classroom, if that's what your school is using, to send pictures and/or videos, or just write! Whatever is best for you.

**Helpful guidelines before emailing to gollj@medinabees.org:**

- From Week 5 (lesson link): Grand Global Day of Design/Teacher Appreciation Week/Mother's Day (Whew, that's a long one!)...designs!!! If you send your ideas from last week, please title your email "Global Day of Design" (or something like that!).

- From Week 4 (lesson link): Unbelievable Unplugged Challenge ideas! If you send your ideas from last week, please title your email "Unplugged Challenge".

- From Week 3 (lesson link): Terrific Tongue Twister Taste Tests and poems!!! If you send yours from last week, please title your email "Tongue Twister" or "Taste Test".

- From Week 2 (lesson link): Great Galimoto/Let's Go Fly a Kite creations!!! If you continue to share your Galimoto creation or homemade kite, it's helpful if you title your email "Galimoto" or "Kite".

- From Week 1 (lesson link): Congratulations on an awesome "Kindness Quarantine Challenge"! Continuing to add to our digital book! See below!

- Kindness Quarantine Challenge Preference: NAMES with PICTURES: If you take a picture of you or your family doing something, whatever you came up with :o), along with the picture, write exactly how you would like the name to appear. (First name only, First and last, no name, family name e.g. The Smith Family)

- Kindness Quarantine Challenge Preference: INFO ONLY WITHOUT PICTURES: Or, if you prefer, you can just email me to share what you or your family did without a picture and specify by writing exactly what you did along with name specifications. (First name only, First and last, no name, family name e.g. The Smith Family).

- If your parent filled out the request form earlier this year to not have your picture posted this year, it will not be posted.
