Updating Lumberton Tree Records

The Lumberton Tree database has not been actively integrated with the databases in the Arboretum Google account since the summer of 2020. From 2016 on this was done by Lumberton residents who may or may not have kept records of tree additions and removals since 2020.

This is the latest version of the Lumberton Tree database, as mentioned from June, 2020. Obviously, there have been some changes. This spreadsheet should be updated to reflect the trees that are actually in place now. Below are some suggested procedures on how to do this.

Use separate Google Account

To avoid accidental changes to the information in the arboretum@medfordleas.com account and to allow more flexibility for the Lumberton resident(s) who will be updating the tree data, they should use a separate Google account. Either one already belonging to a resident or one created by Medford Leas I.T. department for this purpose.

Starting Information

If the Lumberton updater, has a more recent copy of the spreadsheet with Lumberton trees, they should start with that file. If not they can copy the 2020 version from here.2018 version from her

Procedure to update spreadsheet

Basically the person doing the updating will have to start with the existing data and then walk around the campus to verify what is correct and what needs to be changed. Here are some steps to do that.
