Hello All, Greetings from Dewitt Clinton YABC!

Yes, we are still enrolling students for the Fall semester, but I also wanted to share with you that we will begin our Driver's Education course next week. The course is designed for students who would like to earn their driver's permit. Once students have covered the relevant material, they will be able to take the permit exam on site (monitored by our teacher). Students must be at least 16 years old. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm to 5:50pm, starting next week (10/17/2022). If any of your students are interested, we would require a S1 & S2 form signed by the parent.

As a refresher, our overall requirements are below.

Full Time Students:

-17 and older

-A minimum of 12 credits (higher if student is older)

-Attend Monday through Thursday (no Fridays)-Time schedule depends on number of classes required

-Classes are offered from 4pm-9pm

Forms Needed:Y1, Y2, Transcript, IEP/504 if applicable

Shared Instruction Students:

-16 and older

-No credit minimum necessary

-Would still attend day school and then come to us in the evening (Time/Day schedule would depend on classes needed)

-We schedule for 1-2 classes (some exceptions)

-Beneficial for students a few credits behind or those who are highly motivated in advancing
