Introduction to Art
(6th Grade Rotation)
Google Classroom Code: k55xs2u
The sixth grade rotation wheel exposes students to some of the electives that are available at Foothill. It is a great way for students to learn new things and perhaps pick up a new passion! (Due to scheduling restraints not all sixth graders will have the same four courses throughout the year.)
The objective of this course is to acquaint students with the seven elements of art. It is an introduction to what students can experience if they choose to take art in seventh or eighth grade. The goal is to show students that everyone can be an artist. With a little bit of effort and a positive attitude, your child will enhance their art knowledge and ability.

All work will be done in class.
NO homework will be assigned - if a student is completing work for this class at home, it likely indicates that class time was not used wisely.
Students will have ample time in class to complete their work
