About Ms. Bauer

Hello!

My name is Kimberlee Bauer.  This is my sixth year at Foothill and sixteenth year teaching overall.  I have spent my entire career teaching middle school. I am a proud product of MDUSD.  I attended MDUSD from first grade through twelfth grade.  For college, I studied Psychology and Human Development at UC Davis.  I later returned to school at Saint Mary's  College of CA to earn my teaching credential and Master's in Educational Leadership.

I was excited to return to the district as a teacher in 1999.  During my time in middle school I have taught all four of  main subjects as well as PE, Leadership, Student Government, remediation courses, electives, and served as a student activities coordinator.  After eight years in the classroom, I took some time off to begin my family.  This will be my eighth year back in the classroom.

I am passionate about teaching, but more so, my reason for being here to to help your children reach their potential.  The expectations for my students are set high.  Students should complete their work with effort, depth of thought, and academic honesty.   To require anything less of your children would be a vast disservice.  I do not expect any child to be perfect, but I do expect that they exhibit perseverance and integrity in all that they do.  Students are never happy when they learn of these standards, but the improvements they make while in my class speak for themselves.

I am confident that with your support, your child will be successful.  I look forward to taking this journey with you and your child.
