Pacificon's

COVID-19 Action Plan

The Pacificon committee is committed to making sure that all attendees are safe and feel safe while attending the convention.

In saying this we will be requiring the following...

1. Properly worn masks completely covering the nose and mouth be worn at all times when indoors. (Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to put one on. If our request is refused, the person will be asked to leave the premises.)

2. Proof that you were fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to the event; or have a negative result on a COVID test taken no more than 3 days prior to the event.

We will post at least one person just inside or outside the front door to make sure all Pacificon participants have the necessary identification and vaccination/negative test verification with them.

For identification we will accept a California Driver’s License, State-issued identification card, student body card with photo, and other forms of photo identification, PLUS

For proof of vaccination or negative COVID test, we will accept one of the following:

COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card1) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date doses administered); OR

A photo of a vaccination card as a separate document; OR

A photo of the client's vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device, OR

Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider; OR

Digital record that includes a QR code that when scanned by a SMART Health Card reader displays to the reader client name, date of birth, vaccine dates and vaccine type, OR

Documentation of vaccination from other contracted employers who follow these vaccination records guidelines and standards.

A negative COVID test from a health care provider given within 72 hours.

Please help us make this event safe for all our attendees by following these guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding,

Julie Mah (Pacificon Chair 2021)(WJ8MAH)
