Executive Function Coaching
I focus on planning, short and long-term goal setting, task initiation, task completion, time management, and organizational skills. Whenever possible, I work with children on their current tasks so they can practice the strategies during our session, and we can tweak them as needed. I have extensive experience as a learning specialist in schools, so we incorporate schoolwork and homework into our sessions during the school year, which helps with the student's engagement. Although there are general approaches, I feel it is crucial to individualize my work with each child, so they develop systems that work best for them in specific situations.
