We offer a ton of summer programs that are designed to appeal to a variety of campers. With such a broad range of programming, and experienced and innovative staff, there is something for everyone.

Free Online Resources for Practice, Prep and Review During The Summer

Free online resources are now available to support students who are not participating in summer tutoring or summer school. The document includes free academic resources and activities for elementary, middle and high school students to review content, practice skills and prepare for the upcoming school year. Summer 2023 MCPS Online Content Resources

The 2023 Central High School Summer Program (CHSSP) has a range of blended (synchronous and asynchronous) offerings, including core courses, Career Technology Education, Health Education, World Language, and Fine Arts. Students can take a course for grade replacement, grade improvement, or in some instances, original credit. Click on the photo to learn more.

Students Accessing Opportunities Summer Academy SSL Opportunities

Join the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office for the Students Accessing Opportunities (S.A.O.) Summer Academy. The Academy is a 4-day program for middle schoolers. Student participants will learn an array of life skills that will help students to reach their fullest potential while addressing some of today's hottest topics and issues. Montgomery College Summer Youth Programs now has 14 camps approved for SSL hours. We work with MCPS to develop camps that are fun while serving the community. MC Summer Youth Programs  offers more than 300 fun filled summer camps for grades 1-12 including Abrakadoodle, Black Rocket, computer skills and programming, engineering skills, Yang Academy of Math and Science, study and testing skills for school success, circus camp, and many more.

Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Summer Reading Challenge offers kids and teens a chance to fill their summer with great books and fun activities. The challenge will be from June 17 to August 31.

MCPS Summer Sundays at KID Museum

Any MCPS student and their family can visit KID Museum in Bethesda and participate in a workshop for free on Sundays through August 27, 2023. If you are an MCPS family, visit Kid Museum for more information.
