Welcome to our Core Team

We are excited to support the growth and success of all of our Red Foxes. 

I am Ms. Nero, the Reading Specialist. I am dedicated to supporting students’ literacy development. I work closely with students and teachers to identify reading needs, provide targeted interventions, and promote a love of reading across all grade levels. 

I am Mrs. Beshore, the Lead Teacher at Bayard Rustin Elementary School. This year, I will be teaching Math to students in 3rd and 4th grade, with a focus on developing their skills in mathematical modeling and reasoning. I will also collaborate with teams of teachers to deepen our understanding of the Maryland Math Standards and effectively use student data to inform instruction and meet the diverse learning needs of our students. 

I am Ms. Herman-Kelly, the Staff Development teacher. I focus on professional learning and instructional improvement for all teachers. I collaborate with teachers to plan effective lessons, analyze student data, and implement best practices in teaching. I also facilitate ongoing professional development, helping to ensure that our staff stays current, reflective, and responsive to student needs.

Together, we foster a school culture that values continuous learning—for both students and staff. We look forward to working with you and supporting every learner’s journey.
