Coach Downing is entering his 5th year coaching at Blake High School coaching the Defensive Line. Downing is a graduate of Bowie High School (‘02) and Wesley College (‘06) where he played on the offensive and defensive line.

Prior to joining the Blake staff, Downing coached 11 years with 2 stints at Northwestern (PG) High School (2009-2012, 2015-2022) and Largo High School (2013-2015).

Downing is currently a Foundations of Computer Science Teacher at Northwestern (PG) High School.
