Hey everyone! Now that the jams are behind us we must move onto our next task, Podcasts. Right above this paragraph is the Mott Middle College example podcast focusing on PFAS to help get you started. The podcast should include all or some of your team discussing the issues that you have pinpointed in and around your city/state/region. Your Haiku Deck should help guide your topic and you might have found some additional information that has helped direct you to other areas of interest. Please try to keep your podcasts between 7-10 minutes in length. We are looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Each school will be expected to make at least 2 podcasts. Each should be used to move your team and help define your issue, your goal, and develop your team's ability to speak to the problem and clearly communicate their strategy for addressing the problem.

Podcasts should be:

      1. 5-8 minutes in length
      2. engage all or most members of the team in some capacity (preparation, recording, editing and performing)
      3. Include information and be entertaining
      4. demonstrate increased understanding of the issue and focused communication of the team's strategies or ideas.
      5. If possible be open to broadcasting a variety of points of view and be open to change in a public forum.

Use your first podcast to have an open discussion about the problems in your community.

Use your second podcast to invite experts or advocates or dissenters to your group to share ideas and information.
