Students involved in World Music play pieces from all over the world. The ensemble is designed to include students who join the music program later in their schooling years, so that they can be part of an ensemble, but it is open to anyone who wishes to play a vast selection of music in a welcoming environment.

World Music Ensemble was founded at East Campus in 2022. Due to popular demand, Ms Mead brought World Music Ensemble to McKinnon Road Campus in Term 1 of 2025. As it gains more traction, students of all backgrounds are starting to sign up and bring instruments from their cultures to the ensemble. There are now 40 students in the ensemble across the two campuses.
Performance activities they may expect to engage in include concerts in the school hall, and McKinnon's annual Winter Concert held at Robert Blackwood Hall.
