Here are some great games that allow players to explore several different paths to victory!
In Ticket to Ride, players are attempting to connect different cities on a map to score points. On your turn, you can either draw cards, or spend matching cards to place your trains onto the board. You score points by placing trains, and making sure the cities on your secret route cards are connected by the end of the game. Most points wins!
***There are many different versions/maps for this game. Start off with either the USA or Europe map, and then add to your collection if y'all like the game system. The New York and London versions are great, super quick versions of the game, if you're looking for a shorter game.
In Azul, players are aligning beautiful tiles on their player boards to score points. On your turn, you may take all of one color tile from one of the center spaces. Once a line on your board fills up, you then place one of those tiles on your pattern, trying to maximize how many points you score!
In Kingdomino, players are building a kingdom out of tiles that have two sections each, like dominoes, trying to make large territories of matching sections to score points. On your turn, you select one of the available kingdom tiles, which are arranged in order of value. Be careful, though: your choice of kingdom tile this turn decides the order you get to pick for next turn!
