My name is Rico Sneller, and I am a GT math teacher in McKinney, TX. I love all kinds of nerdy stuff like Rubik's cubes, origami, and especially board games. I first discovered modern board games about 6 years ago (from another teacher!), and have been obsessed ever since. I truly believe that board games are magical, and can create unforgettable experiences for players. Whether played at home, in a classroom, at the lunch table, or wherever, board games give you the opportunity to use your brain in a cool way, have fun, and create an awesome shared experience.

I created this website as a starting point for people who may have heard that board games have gotten crazy good over the last few decades, but don't know where to start. These game recommendations are games that I truly love, but are by no means the only good games out there. There's a lot of good games these days. A lot. The games I have selected for this site are games that I think are a great place to start for people who are kind of new to this whole thing.
