Here are some great games that use dice in interesting and fun ways!
In Qwixx, each player gets a sheet with the numbers 2-12 in four different colors, and is trying to make as many marks on their sheet as they can, to score points. On your turn, you will roll six dice. Everybody has the option of crossing out the number made by the two white dice; the active player can combine one of the white dice with any of the colorful dice to cross out a number of that color. Be careful, though: on your sheet, you must go left to right in each color. Most points at the end of the game wins!
In King of Tokyo, players take on the roles of giant monsters attacking Tokyo! The winner is either the last player standing, or the first player to get a certain number of victory points. On your turn, you roll all 6 dice, and then re-roll up to two times, keeping any dice you like in an effort to get certain combinations (much like the classic game Yahtzee). Special cards make each game feel different and new!
Rory's Story Cubes are sets of nine 6-sided dice that have different images on each face, which players use to create stories. The number of ways to create stories with them is infinite, and so is the amount of fun you can have with them!
***There are many different sets of cubes, each with their own theme for the images on that set. All are awesome!
