4.) How did MCN's STEM area influence your decision to enroll in your top 3 chosen courses?
"The environment that MCN provided was a mix of all sciences, so as students, we were able to explore and hone our skills in different areas. For instance, in the 11th grade, one of our subjects was Philosophy, so we were able to focus on Social Sciences. In my case, I was drawn to Biology in the 12th grade, hence my choice of enrolling in Medical Technology."

4.) How did MCN's STEM area influence your decision to enroll in your top 3 chosen courses?
"Aside from the fact that I really wanted to continue down a STEM course for college, MCN's STEM education helped me discovered which science I particularly enjoy and excel in. So, I found out that I really do like biology and chemistry thus I chose these courses when applying for colleges."
5.) What STEM-related skills have you acquired at Miriam College Nuvali that you are applying for learning your current course?
"I would say problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration are skills that I apply for my course that I've acquired at MCN. These are applicable to most if not all of my classes. For example, I use problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical thinking skills when doing nutritional assessments and for case studies. As for communication and collaboration skills, I apply these during group works as well as during discussions in class."
6.) Describe your whole experience as a STEM student at Miriam College Nuvali.
"During my senior high as a STEM student in MCN, I had a rollercoaster experience where I had my ups and downs. In STEM, there are different sciences we had to learn and I realized how I truly struggled in some of them such as physics. On the brighter side, it also clarified on which sciences I wanted to pursue for college. Additionally, I'm grateful for all STEM classes but specifically the Capstone Project class because it truly prepped me with all the skills needed for not just my course but also outside of my classroom environment such as my organizations in college. Overall, I enjoyed and discovered a lot in my experience as a STEM student at MCN."

5.) What STEM-related skills have you acquired at Miriam College Nuvali that you are applying for learning your current course?
"Critical Thinking. Surely, after further realization, this is a vital component you definitely need in college, especially with the degree that I'm currently at. It helped me greatly with analyzing information, problem-solving, and creating logical conclusions. These scenarios are best explained whenever we undergo Case Study and Analyses of actual medical cases that we encounter in our practice."
6.) Describe your whole experience as a STEM student at Miriam College Nuvali.
"Being a STEM student of MCN was not at all an easy going experience—it was both an exhilirating and challenging deal. (1) Exhilirating as it was exciting to discover the science behind a phenomenon and how these applies in one's daily operations in life and truly fueled me to know more; (2) Challenging as they adapted us students in advance thinking methods and challenged us in making our decision sound and in integrating a proper rationale behind our reasoning. One aspect I wished to have during my SHS years as a STEM student of MCN are the specialized subjects (such as Human Anatomy & Physiology) that the current batches have as of now as I believe this would've been a good stepping stone to college. All in all, MCN's STEM program was focused on a science-based approach which indeed helped me with my studies now that I'm in college practicing a healthcare related degree. :) "
