In addition to taking Honors level courses at the high school, gifted students may benefit from Advanced Placement (AP) course work and/or College Credit Plus (CCP) course work. Oftentimes, these students can simultaneously earn high school and college credit. To be eligible for CCP courses, students must meet the admission standards of the participating college or university to which they apply for enrollment and must be in grades 7-12 in the year they participate. School guidance counselors can provide more information on these courses.
