Summer break was useful to catch up with reading and realise how much dev deviated from user driven design. This applies, critically, to how we get a good handle on JS. Lets that a few minutes to argue this point: the argument for web technologies progresses a) from the client to the server side and b) doesn't have to go beyond the REST API. Note how our focus on microservices (including npm frameworks ...) is hiding lack of core JS skills.
