Froedtert updates (FA2025):  

1. Student Verification Requirements

   • Hepatitis B: A 2-dose series of Heplisav-B vaccine is now acceptable to meet this requirement.

2. N95 Mask Fit Testing

   • Students that are required to complete N95 fit testing using approved N95 models.

     • Halyard Duckbill N95 (46727 or 46827)

     •  3M N95 (1860 or 1860S)

     • ProGear N95 (RP88020 or RP88010)

   • Please ensure students confirm their fit-tested model prior to clinical placement.

3. Student Wellness Reminder

   • We’ve noted an increase in students experiencing syncopal (fainting) episodes during clinical shifts.

   • Please remind students to eat prior to arriving onsite and avoid relying solely on caffeinated beverages.

4. New Student Survey

   • Beginning this term, students will receive a brief survey during the final month of their clinical placement.
