The Community College of Philadelphia uses the ACCUPLACER test as their placement test. The 9th grade students choosing to apply for the MC² program will take the same test. Arrangements will be made by MaST in order for the students to take the test as a group.
Please note- students will automatically get an email from CCP with their test results, but this is NOT the official acceptance into the MC² program. The official acceptance information will come directly from MaST NOT CCP.
All 9th grade students are welcome to apply for the program. The application session is typically held in November of a students' freshman year. Once a student completes the application, a signed FERPA form is required to be submitted. All students with a completed application and FERPA form are then invited to take the CCP placement test. The test is usually scheduled for the end of January. Soon after, students and families will be notified directly by a MaST staff member on their acceptance into the MC² program.
