Welcome to the MaST Schools' MC² Program Website!
The MC² Program is a Dual Enrollment program between MaST Community Charter Schools and the Community College of Philadelphia. Students take high school classes and college courses during their 10th, 11th, and 12th grade years. Students obtain an Associates Degree in Business or Health Care Studies in their senior year of high school.
All MaST High School students are welcome to apply for the program during the spring semester of their freshman year.
Check out what some MC² Alums have to say about the program!
"The MC² program was a challenge at times but a welcomed challenge that I am very grateful to have taken place in. I believe that this program helped spark the drive to be the best student I could and provided me with an avenue to reach my goals. The MC2 program not only helped enrich my academic experience, it also opened several doors for me after MaST graduation. You won’t believe how fascinated and jealous future employers are by the fact that you have a college degree before your High School Diploma. "
-Billy Hartner, class of 2019
"A positive with the program was the ability to explore what my interests were. I was able to better understand what I would like to study and do career-wise."
-Adam Leghzaouni, class of 2021
"There were definitely many benefits to the program. For one, it was so much more affordable than colleges are right out of high school. Also, by getting my associates degree in high school through this program, I am now only attending college for 2 years. So I am graduating in 2024 when normally I would be graduating in 2026! You also get extremely close with the fellow classmates you do the program with and you all work together to help each other in every class you take, and that was one of the best parts of CCP."
-Olivia Behr, class of 2022
"I finished my degree in a two year time-span after graduating high school. I now have a full time job with benefits at the age of 20. Moreover, I was more well prepared for what a college setting is actually like and how it differs from a high school setting in terms of doing your work and the freedom that comes with it in comparison. "
-Alexa Murphy, class of 2021
"The MC² program helped me graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in 2 years. This saved me a lot of time and money. This also helped me stand out when I was applying to Grad school."
-Abigail Thomas, class of 2021
"The MC² program allowed to me to get a real college experience while in high school, and prepared me before going to a 4 year university. It showed me what the workload would look like and helped me learn how to balance all the different things going on in my life. I had more of an expectation of what classes would be like when I went to a 4 year college and wasn’t overwhelmed by the environment . To be honest, it also made my first two years of college an easier work load. "
-Emily Behr, class of 2022
"MC² was so helpful in the transitioning aspect of college. I was used to the rigor and I had developed really good time management skills."
-Savannah Zazulak, class of 2018
"I was able to double major and get a certificate and still graduate on time. I also was able to see what taking college classes was like before going to a 4-year university."
-Giovanna Maio, class of 2020
"I was a year ahead of college. I feel like I got to see what college was like and it prepared me for the workload."
-Morgan Micciche, Class of 2023
