Friday, January 10th: Students will review what they learned about Renaissance so far. They will read and transact with an article about the Renaissance and complete the Aurthor's Purpose worksheet in their packets. This is due by Monday at the start of class. Students will also complete the Edpuzzle. If not finished in class, students will finish this for homework. This will be due by Monday at the start of class.
Monday, January 13th: Students will follow along with a nearpod about the Renaissance time period and how it has impacted our modern world. Students will then play a review game with Mrs. Hartman. Students will then complete 3 closure questions regarding the information learned in class. These 3 questions are posted to google classroom in a google form called "closure." If students don't finish the closure questions in class, they are homework.
Tuesday, January 14th: Students will complete a live mode Edpuzzle with Mrs. Hartman. Absent students do not need to make this up. Students will use the remainder of class to work on their Webquest in their packets. A link to the Webquest website has been posted to google classroom. Students will use that website to write 3 summarizing bullet points in each category on their webquest chart graphic organizers. This will be due by Wednesday, January 22nd at the start of class. There are no graded assignments today.

Wednesday, January 22nd: Students began to take notes on the Protestant Reformation in their new Reformation packet. Students also turned in their Renaissance choice project and showed Mrs. Hartman their webquest notes.

Reformation Packet for Unit #3
Thursday, January 23rd: Students reviewed information from yesterday's class and notes on the Protestant Reformation. Students read through an abbreviated version of Luther's 95 Theses. Students will learn about the English Reformation of the Catholic church.
Friday, January 24th: Students were provided a TDA packet and given time to work on this in class. Students will also have the next class day to work on this in class.
Monday, January 27th: Students had time to work on their TDA.
Tuesday, January 28th: Students prepped for a Socratic Seminar that will be held on Wednesday. (last 2 pages of Reformation packet)
Wednesday, January 29th: Students got a new packet called "Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment." Students read through the first few pages and took notes on the readings in the Scientific Revolution.
