In Music class we work on giving a musical response. We do this through using our voice, scarves, musical instruments, movement and more.

Musicians use their voices a lot, so we work on engaging all of our voices - Singing, speaking, whisper, shouting, thinking, and humming.

We take a lot of turns in music class. Everyone has a turn with every activity. Students are also able to choose which activity to try first.

Tuneful people are able to keep songs in their mind, create short melodies of their own, and sing well enough that people don’t beg them to stop!

Beatful
Beatful (yes, that is how I meant to spell it) people can sway in time to music for their wedding and rock a baby to sleep with a lullaby.

Artful people see beauty around them, seek out artistic experiences in life, and support their local artistic scene.
