We have been wrapping up our first trimester of music! Students are assessed on their ability to achieve the goals. The meaning of the rating scale can be found on the first page of your child’s report card.

Below are the third grade music Trimester 1 achievement goals –

Students will be able to … differentiate voice types; activate head voice; identify pitches as high, middle and low as relative to one another; express steady beat through the use of xylophones and percussion instruments; review rhythm symbols; read and write rhythm symbols.
