CPDL Position, Application, and Hiring Details:
Teachers hired for the CPDL positions begin July 1. Teachers designated as CPDLs will receive a stipend of $10,000 and be expected to work an additional 15 days for the school year.
Applicants for the CPDL positions must submit an online application (see link below).
After reviewing the questions on the application, we encourage you to type your responses into a word processor first in order to take advantage of the ability to save your work, to use spell check, and to access other editing features. Conduct a word count before copying and pasting, as the Site Based Review Council (SBRC) requests a maximum word count of 300 for each response.
No letters of recommendation will be required at this time.
Applicants also must submit a cover letter and résumé with the application.
In addition, the candidate(s) will be selected for an interview by district and/or building administration.
Hiring Process
Each candidate’s application and résumé will be evaluated and scored by the SBRC using a rubric linked below. In addition, the candidate will be interviewed by district and/or building administration.
By applying for the CPDL position, you are agreeing to work an additional 15 days to work with mentors, PLC Leads, Instructional Coaches, other CPDLs, and administrators on improving teaching and learning. An online screener, a phone interview, and a "face-to-face" interview may be held.
A survey inquiring about levels of support for CPDL candidacy may be shared with district teachers and administrators.
These positions are 1-year positions and there is no guarantee from year-to-year of continued compensation or employment.
