• Log into Otus

• Create a self-paced lesson: Use the Lesson feature in Otus to post a sequence of activities that students will complete.

• Post a Daily Agenda: Use the Class Board feature to post announcements.

• Create auto-graded quizzes

  • Create a "simple" assessment: Simple assessments are limited to Multiple Choice, True/False, and Short Answer. There is no question bank, and the questions you create are not reusable in other quizzes.

  • Create an "advanced" assessment: Advanced assessments allow for more complex question types (graphing, drag & drop, etc) and utilize an item bank.

    • Create from question bank

    • Build your own questions

• Allow a student to submit a file: Not all assignments are quizzes! Perhaps students will submit a paper, presentation, or video; you can accomplish this with a "Rubric Assessment."
