Academic Challenge is a unique extracurricular in that it covers the entirety of the high school curriculum and beyond. From American Literature to Physics to Mythology to Current Events, our quiz bowl style matches cover a wide variety of topics from most school curricula. But it also goes beyond what’s taught in school to encourage students to learn outside the classroom. In the process of preparing for and playing the game, students will learn about many culturally, historically, and scientifically important concepts, works, and individuals that they had likely never previously encountered.
