Seminole High School Middle School Night

Seminole High School  - Middle School Band Night!

This event gives our students a glimpse of what it is like to be in the Seminole High School Marching Band! Students will be integrated into the marching band and perform with them during the halftime show and throughout the game.

• Date of event: September 1st, 2023

• Drop off time: 4:50 pm  (STUDENTS MUST CHECK-IN WITH MR. ANDERSON WHEN ARRIVING)

  • Drop-off location: In front of the stadium (see map below)

• 5:00pm - Rehearsal (Land of 1000 Dances)

• 5:30pm - Dinner served to students. (Pizza, chips and a drink. Vegetarians will be offered peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.)

• 6:30pm - Enter stands with SHS band members.

• 6:53pm - National Anthem

• 7:00pm - Kickoff of Football Game 

• 8:15pm (approx.) - Perform Halftime show

• Pick up time: 9:30pm-9:45pm (STUDENTS MUST CHECK-OUT WITH MR. ANDERSON BEFORE LEAVING)

  • Pick up location: In front of the auditorium (see map below)

• Dress: Jeans, and a t-shirt 

• What to bring: An open mind & Your instrument (Tuba players - You will have to bring your practice Tuba with you to this event.)

All Concert Band and Symphonic Band students are invited to attend!

Things to know from the SHS Band Directors:

·        We do ask that each student stay for the ENTIRETY of the game (entrance to/exit from the stadium is very restricted during the game)

·        Cases/Belongings can be securely stored in our auditorium during the game (this will happen during the dinner break)

·        Any parents wishing to buy tickets to attend the game can do so at the following link.

·        Chaperones may enter with the band without buying a ticket

o   There can only be one free chaperone for every 10 students, each chaperone must be a registered SCPS Dividend

·        Drop-Off for 5pm rehearsal

o   Georgia Ave. runs right next to our stadium, this is the best place to drop-off

·        Pick-Up after the game

o   Parking Lot outside of our auditorium (also off of Georgia Ave.)
