Concert Band

The Concert Band is a full-year academic course designed to extend students’ skills beyond the beginner level. The Concert Band is an audition-only course; students must have at least one year of previous band experience.

This class aims to expand on musical concepts learned in Beginning Band and to further develop students’ individual performance techniques and the principles of ensemble performance. Concert Band is a full-year class that meets during the academic school day. Students will be held to a high standard and will be expected to perform music in various concerts and adjudicated events.
