Program a Robot
Birdbrain Technologies makes robotics kits perfect for students to learn and create all sorts of imaginative automated robots. (We use these at MCS!)
Some of you are thinking of robots such as you see in movies or on TV. But robots are so much more creative than that!
You do not need to have a robot to learn and have fun. Birdbrain Technologies has set up a way for you to access robots over the Internet via their Creative Robots at Home program. There are several options to explore. Use the Remote Robots option to explore and program the robots. You do not need to buy anything or create any accounts to program these Remote Robots.
You program the robots using the Snap! environment using blocks that many of you will find similar to Scratch blocks.
