Welcome to English III British Literature!! This year will be a crucial and challenging year in preparing you for applying and attending college over the next two years. During this school year, we will develop an extensive research paper, prepare for the ACT, and travel through the ages and eras of British Literature. We will be focusing on analyzing British Literature, including poetry, fiction, and drama. You will also work on developing other essential writing skills including college essays, resumes, business letters and other technical writing pieces. With this year being packed with so much knowledge and preparation for your future, I want you to realize how important your Junior Year is for your time here at Marian. Any additional help or assistance you may need, please feel free to contact me.

Please login to your designated class Edmodo page for current homework assignments, handouts, electronic discussions, and additional educational resources to enhance your learning in my classroom. In addition, we will also be using Turnitin.com to upload essays and assignments to identify any works that may be plagiarized. Below are the class codes and passwords to enroll in each section for both websites. Please use your first and last names when creating accounts. You are responsible for your account information, in which I will have very little access to your personal account information. It is suggested for you to put information in your assignment notebook or (with permission of the teacher for in class usage) your phone or BYOT device.
