We have enjoyed another sunny and warm week, which has once again provided numerous opportunities for the children to engage with our outdoor areas. The lovely weather has undoubtedly contributed to a positive and energetic atmosphere within the school community.
On Tuesday, Year 3 went on an exciting visit to Folkestone, where they participated in a tourism survey. The experience was further enhanced with the delightful treat of an ice cream, a special addition that brought smiles to many faces. We would like to extend our thanks to Mr Stanford for kindly organising this treat for the children.
On Thursday, we welcomed our new EYFS children for their first stay-and-play session without their parents. It was heartening to see how brave they all were as they explored the environment and began to forge new friendships. We look forward to welcoming them back next week for more engaging activities and further opportunities to form relationships.
As we anticipate another week of warm weather, we kindly ask that you ensure your children come to school equipped with their water bottles, sun hats, and with suntan lotion on.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Nintendo’s long-awaited Switch 2 has finally arrived, blending fresh hardware with fan-favourite franchises. From Mario to Pikachu, the familiar mascots are back – but so too are evolving online features, in-game purchases, and potential exposure to mature content. As ever, it’s essential that parents and educators understand the risks to young players.
Among these are GameChat voice communication, camera-based gaming, and potential access to mature-rated titles. This guide outlines what to watch out for and how to keep children safe, engaged and having fun.
