It has been another busy week at Marden. The children have all started their new inquiry and are hard at work, sharing ideas and learning about new concepts. Clubs have also started again this week. It has been lovely to seeing so many children getting involved and enjoying their extra-curricular learning.
Thank you to those of you who have completed the careers form we sent out. We were really pleased to see that there are lots of people within our community who are willing to come in and speak to the children about their career. We think this will be a great way to teach the children about different jobs and to inspire them for the future. We will be in touch soon to discuss next steps.
As a school we really value your feedback and support. Last academic year, we had some parents who kindly met with myself and Mrs Rawling to discuss new ideas for the school and to give feedback on key areas. We would really like to do this again this year and would welcome any volunteers. If you would like to be part of this group, please email the Office or speak to one of us on the gate.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Office Messages
Please remember to ring or email the School Office if you need to speak to a member of staff. They will then arrange for a meeting or for a member of staff to ring you back. Please do not directly email members of staff.
Please can we also ask for your support in approaching the school if you have concerns about another child instead of contacting the other child's parents. This helps us to be able to support everyone involved and helps to reduce unnecessary conflict.
Unfortunately, some people have been parking on the zig zag lines, over drive ways, on single yellow lines and on the foot paths. I am sure you will understand that this poses a risk to the children when they are entering and leaving the school site. Please can we ask for your support in parking carefully and in appropriate places so as to ensure the safety of our school community during peak times.
