4Chestnut Learning Update

Central idea: Cultural identity could be expressed through creativity.

We've had great fun this week starting our third line of inquiry about creative expression. The children designed a christmas decoration to be made from salt dough, created a mood board of ideas and evaluated their design. Later, they used their computing skills to create a presentation, they were able to add images, insert videos and sound and ensure that they made the presentation interesting by using animations and different transitions. Some of us got the chance to play in the fresh, fluffy snow on the field before it became too frozen solid.

We have been very proud of how hard the class have worked this term and wish you all a very happy and healthy Christmas. We look forward to seeing you again in 2023.
