MECHS is adopting all levels of the Path to College/Career innovative courses into its school framework. In alignment with the ECHS Blueprint, these courses will support the skills and knowledge needed to be college and career ready. In addition to the TEKS outlined in each level of the course, each level course will focus on skills aligned with the MECHS pathway:

PCC 1 - Academic Soft Skills, Goal Setting, and Study Habits
PCC 2 - TSIA2 English Preparation, Academic Reading/Writing Skills, and PSAT Preparation
PCC 3 - TSIA2 Math and SAT Preparation, Academic Research and Writing Skills
PCC 4 - Academic Resumes, Scholarship & College Application, Career Exploration

In addition to the curriculum documents below for each course, each PCC teacher will utilize the tools and resources on SchoolLinks (the District-adopted college & career readiness software platform).

All MECHS seniors will use SchooLinks for their college applications this year. All transcript requests, fee waiver approvals, and letters of recommendation will go through this platform. Grades 9-11 will begin incorporating the college and career exploration resources within the platform this year.
