At the start of year 7, students work in tutor groups on a series of sessions aimed to help them with their transition into our school.  These are themed:  organisation and kindness.

Once these are completed, they will move onto sessions from the programme above.  These will cover a range of themes including:  prejudice; bullying; online safety; the environment; healthy lifestyles and positive relationships.

Each term the school comes off the usual academic timetable for Focus Days.  During these days, students mainly stay in their tutor groups and are provided with a range of PSHE/Careers themed sessions.  These can be lead by various school staff or professional outside agencies.

We are proud to say that students agree that these days are worthwhile and this is shown in the high attendance figures.
