Hello! My name is Marylou Sytsma, and I am blessed to be teaching at MCS. This year I will be teaching all of the history classes in middle school.
I was born and raised right here in Montana, and I attended MCS from kindergarten through 12th grade. I attended Calvin College (now University) in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I received a secondary education degree with a double major in English and U.S. History. I began my teaching career in Michigan where I taught middle school for three years. God called my husband and me back to Montana in 2007, and I have been teaching here ever since in the middle school. I have three kids, Ethan (18), Jonas (14), and Gabby (10). We also have a large flock of chickens, two ducks, five cats, two rabbits, and four dogs.
