**When we are able to fit it in with our schedule we spend Fridays focusing on different Finance topics. The first unit that 6th grade will be working through is a unit called Money in our Lives where we will take a look at personal finance decisions, tradeoffs, as well as be able to explore ideas about what their future life may look like.

• Vocab Picture Sheet - Due 9/9 - Students should have had enough time to finish this in class, otherwise it became homework.

• Open-note quiz - Thursday 9/11

• Test - Tuesday 9/16 - Students can study with their Study Guide, Vocab Picture Sheet, and any notes they may have taken in class.

Special Announcements: WANTED: Garbage & Recycling! - Middle School students will be creating Mariachi instruments from recycled materials. We would love it if you could collect and bring in items such as clean milk jugs, string, yarn, rubber bands, duct tape, random small items, etc. Honestly, whatever you'd like to contribute we will take! If you think it could be used for a creative guitar or violin or trumpet, bring it on in! Gracias! :)
