Finance Fridays: 

**We are currently working through a Unit on Budgeting. We will focus on what a budget is, needs vs. wants, how we budget, why we pay taxes and work on creating a budget to put all the pieces together.

Language Arts

• There will be a test on Friday, January 16, over our VERBS unit.  It is not a test that students need to study for, and they may use all review sheets for reference.

Upcoming Events: 

• DUE 2/3 - Syllabus, signed by both student and adult. Students were sent home a paper copy to have signed.

• DUE 2/3 - Materials listed on the syllabus. I will check in class to make sure students have the required materials next Tuesday, the 3rd.

Special Announcements:

• IMPORTANT: Incoming 6th grade class, we will be creating Mariachi instruments from recycled materials. Please bring in cardboard, string, paper towel tubes, rubber bands, water bottles, and anything else you think would be helpful!
