OneNote Class Notebook (web, iOS, Android, Chromebooks) OneNote is a digital binder/online notebook , with hyperlinked text, embed audio and video, drawings, and images organised around subject tabs. Class Notebook is based around OneNote and lets you create your own notebook, then set up linked notebooks for each of your students.
A OneNote Class Notebook has three main features:
1) A personal workspace for every student. Teachers can gather web content and embed existing lessons in a student's class notebook to create custom lesson plans. You can include audio and video recordings to create rich interactive lessons for students. Students can use powerful drawing tools to highlight, annotate slides, sketch diagrams, and take handwritten notes. Your class notebook makes it easier to collect homework, quizzes, exams and handouts. Students go to the content library to get their assignments. No more printed handouts for the class.
2) A content library for handouts. You can organise your lesson plans and course content in your own digital notebook. Keep everything in a OneNote Class Notebook, and use its powerful search to find what you're looking for, even text in pictures or handwriting. Your notebooks are saved automatically and can be viewed from any devices, online or offline.
3) A collaboration space for lessons and creative activities. Teachers can provide individualised support by typing or writing directly in each student's private notebook. The collaboration space encourages students to work together as the teacher provides real-time feedback and coaching.
Class Charts (web, iOS and Android apps for students and parents) Software that can actually identify how students influence each other in the classroom. Teachers will love how the AI engine automatically suggests seating charts optimised for learning and behaviour. Improve student behaviour with this fast and effective behaviour management. Save teachers’ time and reduce work load with AI driven seating charts based on the parameter set by the teacher to disperse more disruptive students throughout, rather than keep them together.
SharePoint (Web, Microsoft 365, Android, Chromebook) is a web-based collaborative platform that integrates with Microsoft Office. SharePoint is essentially a document management and storage system. SharePoint Online is Microsoft's hosted SharePoint, and is bundled in Microsoft Office 365.
ClassDojo (web, iOS, Android, Kindle Fire) allows you to track student behaviour and reward students, either individually or as a whole class, for making good choices. Students can showcase and share their learning by adding photos and videos to their own portfolios. Create a positive classroom culture and help students grow by sharing regular, positive feedback in class and on their own portfolios
GoNoodle (web) GoNoodle makes movement and mindfulness an integral part of the day, at school and at home. Improves behaviour and attention, betters academic performance, and strengthens classroom cohesion. Turns screen time into active time when students dance during a GoNoodle brain break. Login as an educator or student.
Too Noisy (web, iOS, Android) A Noise Level Meter built to help control the noise level of groups of children. As the noise level in a classroom increases beyond an acceptable level the noise level meter dynamically indicates the level of noise, and the background graphics within the app change to reflect the noise levels.
Boomerang (Gmail, Outlook, Android, and Google Calendar) Schedule emails to send at optimal times, snooze messages, get read receipts & follow up reminders if someone doesn't respond to your email.
Google Calendar (web, iOS, Android) schedule an event for a specific block of time or just add it to your day as a task, drag and drop items to new times when plans change; easily set an event to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, so you don’t have to re-enter it; colour-code items into their own “calendars”; share calendar items or whole calendars with others; set text or email reminders for individual items; sync your calendar on your phone, tablet, home, and work computers so items can be added any time
IFTTT (web, iOS, Android) Automate the tasks you do over and over again. IFTTT takes care of that for you by linking up all the apps in your life and letting them communicate with each other. It links them with “applets,” (little programs you can set up to get the apps you already use to work together on specific, automatic tasks).
Noisli (web, iOS, Android, Chrome extension) Noisli is basically a white- noise generator, offering a menu of different sounds you can combine to your liking, creating a nice hum in the background that can help you stay focused. Improve focus and boost your productivity. Mix different sounds and create your perfect environment.
Planboard (web, iOS, Android) Save time on your lesson planning. Planboard makes it simple to get organized and reduce your classroom prep time. Accessible from anywhere, you can plan lessons, align to curriculum sets, and manage your schedule with ease. Streamline your classroom with digital lesson planning. Easily create lessons in the intuitive online editor. Add in attachments, photos, and videos to bring your lessons to life. Then build lesson templates to cut prep time even further so you can get right into your instruction.
Toggl (web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) Lets you keep track of how much time you spend marking, planning, documenting student progress, or any other task. Then Toggle provides you with reports that add up your totals for the day or the week. By tracking your time, you can start gradually changing how you spend it.
