At 107 years old, Maine Masque is the third oldest student-lead collegiate theater company in the country. We value commitment, cooperation, and education.
Open to all University of Maine students, the Maine Masque’s primary goals are to support and produce theater at the University of Maine. Each year the Maine Masque produces one main stage production as part of the School of Performing Arts season of events. The Maine Masque is an independent organization under the jurisdiction of the University of Maine Student Government, but closely works with the School of Performing Arts to support various theater related activities on and off campus.

Alpha Psi Omega (ΑΨΩ) is a National Theatre Honor Society for participants in collegiate theatre. It began in the early 20th century as result of the growing interest in dramatic arts among colleges and universities throughout America, with the aim of encouraging dramatic production at every step in a person’s academic career.
Membership is open to students (primarily undergraduate) who are active in collegiate/university theatre at four-year institutions (full colleges and universities).
