Can You? study guides will be available approximately one week before each exam

Attendance at exams: 

No makeup exams. For any reason. I want to give one exam to all students under the same conditions, so that my assessments of your learning are as consistent as possible. There are very few justifiable reasons for missing an exam. However, if an unavoidable circumstance does arise, keep in mind the overall exam policy which states that if you do miss an exam, I will average your other two exams and subtract 15, and this score will replace the missed exam.

Allowable Materials:

You will be allowed an 4x6 (approximate, I'm not going to get out a ruler...) notecard  (both sides!) cheat sheet on all exams. This card must be handwritten, by you, and will be turned in with your exam. 

You are allowed to use your scientific calculator on all exams, excluding the final.

You will be provided this Periodic Table on all exams. (You may not use a different one.)

Additional materials may be provided depending on the exam, and are linked below to assist your preparation.

Note that use of any other materials on exams will be considered a violation of the University Academic Integrity policy, and will be reported to the Dean of Students.
