GVSU has its own sustainable agriculture project where students can participate in hands on involvement and education. The SAP provides students with a community based space that encourages them to think critically about the environment, soil health, fresh food, and sustainable living. The SAP also harvests and sells its fresh produce at the farm stand when vegetables are in season, and uses the proceeds to help self sustain the work at the farm.
There are many different events and volunteer opportunities to engage in at the SAP!
