Course Information

HIT 75 - Organization and Management provides detailed instruction in the principles of organization and management functions and theories in various settings, time management and management tools, communication processes, decision making strategies, recruitment and staffing, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, motivating personnel, budget, and grievances and labor unions. 

Class is very interactive with group activities and in-class research blended with lectures and demonstrations. Students will learn basic project management techniques, budgeting and participate in exercises addressing cultural competency and diversity awareness in the workplace.

This is a fully online class.
