THE COMMON APPLICATION:
The Common Application opened for the Class of 2026 on August 1st.
Please use the Common Application whenever possible.
You can create your Common Application account at www.commonapp.org and begin completing the “Common App General Application.” For information on tips and best practices and to create an account: commonapp.org.
When creating your Common Application account, this account must be registered with your child's personal email account and not a parent’s email account.
Please remember your Common Application User Name Account Information & Password!

Please refer to this "MHS Common Application FAQ Handout" while completing your “Common Application General Application.”
After you have decided which colleges you are applying to, then you can can add them to your "My Colleges list" on the Common Application and be ready to submit.
Don't forget to match Naviance with your Common Application account.
Your School Counselor will review this and other important information related to the Common Application during your Senior Individual Conference student work session.
